Morristown Medical Center Emergency Blood Drives on Mon 7/27 & Tues 7/28

Morristown Medical Center is hosting an emergency blood drive on Monday, July 27th and Tuesday, July 28th. Please help spread the word.

On Monday, July 27, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center, Kahn Auditoriums A and B at 100 Madison Avenue, Morristown, New Jersey 07960.

Parking will be validated at Atlantic Health Morristown. Atlantic Health team members who donate may qualify to receive a 10-point well-being voucher.

More information: The American Red Cross has declared an emergency blood shortage as the national supply fell nearly 25% due to summer travel, school breaks, and a spike in trauma cases. All blood types are urgently needed, especially type O, to maintain adequate patient care and avoid surgical delays.

New Jersey is facing dangerously low levels with just one to two days for critical blood types. The New Jersey Department of Health has urged immediate donations.
