Mayo Performing Arts Center describes the band as the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades and lists songs associated with the group including “If You Leave Me Now,” “Saturday in the Park,” “Beginnings” and “Hard to Say I’m Sorry.”

The official Chicago band history says the group began in 1967, when Chicago musicians formed a rock band built around horns and a mix of musical influences. The band’s official site says its record sales have topped 100 million and lists 21 Top 10 singles, five consecutive No. 1 albums and 47 gold and platinum awards.

The performance takes place at Mayo Performing Arts Center, 100 South Street, in downtown Morristown. MPAC says it is accessible by car, public transportation and on foot, and is about 0.4 miles from the Morristown NJ Transit rail station. The venue lists MPAC-operated parking for select shows, municipal lots nearby and shuttle service for select performances.
