Downtown Morristown Halloween Trick-or-Treat

Costumed children can visit participating downtown Morristown businesses for the Morristown Partnership’s annual trick-or-treat event Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m. The business-district celebration takes place the afternoon before Halloween.

Businesses and local organizations distribute treats at participating storefronts, with a limited number of spaces on the Morristown Green available to organizations without a safely accessible storefront. Participating locations can display the Partnership’s pumpkin sign. The organizer continues to add participants as registrations arrive, so families should consult the event page for the latest locations.

The event continues a downtown tradition that the Partnership says dates back almost 30 years. Its business-registration form allows participants to identify candy, nonfood treats or activities they plan to offer; the selection will vary by stop. Families with questions can contact cassidy@morristown-nj.org. The published signup form is for businesses and organizations, rather than a ticket purchase for children attending the afternoon event.
