Family Nature Stroll at the Great Swamp

Take a free guided family walk at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center Nov. 15, 10–11 a.m. All ages are welcome.

The Morris County Park Commission will offer a free Family Nature Stroll on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, 247 Southern Boulevard in Chatham Township. The program is listed for all ages.

Participants will join a guided walk along the center’s trails to learn about wildlife and observe the landscape during the fall season. The outing is intended for families, giving children and adults a shared opportunity to explore the outdoors with a guide. Wildlife observations depend on the conditions encountered during the walk.

The Park Commission provides a registration link on the event page. Use that link for the Nov. 15 session and review any instructions before attending. Questions about the program can be directed to 973-635-6629. This listing is for the November walk; other dates on the organizer’s page are separate sessions. Dress for an outdoor trail outing and the day’s weather.
