Reading of The Declaration of Independence

Reading of The Declaration of Independence on July 4th at the Ford Mansion: come celebrate the 4th of July with an interactive reading of the Declaration of Independence.

There will be toasts, volleys of musketry from Continental soldiers, followed by an open house of the Ford Mansion. Bring your own chair and/or blanket and remember parking lots are first come, first serve. This is an outdoor event and is weather dependent. In the event of severe weather programs will be cancelled. This event is free and will take place between the Ford Mansion and the Washington Headquarters Museum outdoors.
