Fans can expect classics such as “Touch of Grey\,” “Scarlet Begonias\,” “Friend of the Devil\,” “Sugar Magnolia\,” and “Truckin’.” Their shows mix fan favorites with deeper cuts\, creating a communal\, dance‑friendly atmosphere. \n  \nDivided Sky \nA dynamic tribute to Phish\, rooted in the North Jersey jam scene\, Divided Sky delivers the band’s adventurous spirit with favorites like “You Enjoy Myself\,” “Bouncing Around the Room\,” “Tweezer\,” “Down with Disease\,” and “Divided Sky.” Their sets blend faithful renditions with spontaneous improvisation\, creating a true Phish‑style experience.Divided Sky \n  \nAnimal Instincts \nAnimal Instincts is a Philadelphia‑based psychedelic rock\, funk\, and fusion band known for groove‑driven originals and improvisational performances. Blending influences from artists like The Meters\, Frank Zappa\, and Gov’t Mule\, the band delivers tight rhythms\, jam‑inspired interplay\, and an improvisational flair that keeps audiences moving from the first note to the last. \nOne of the grooviest fall concerts in North Jersey — bring the family\, catch the vibes\, feast on great food and drinks\, and spend the day soaking up live music under the open sky! \n  \nTickets are available at jamtoberfest.simpletix.com.  \nMedia & Ticket Inquiries: jamtoberfest26@gmail.com

SUMMARY:Troubadour Concerts -- Richard Shindell with Jess Klein
DESCRIPTION:IN-PERSON in Morristown\, NJAdvance in-person tickets $35 (+$1.68 service fee); members $30 (+$1.48 service fee): https://ticketscandy.com/…/richard-shindell-with-jess… \nLive webcast $20: https://aftontickets.com/ShindellKlein \nRichard Shindell lives as both an immigrant and emigrant\, crossing thresholds\, that informs his illumination of the human experience through narrative song. Shindell has inhabited a Zen Buddhist monastery and busked in the streets of Paris. \nOriginally from New York\, now living in Buenos Aires\, Argentina\, Shindell is a writer whose songs paint pictures\, tell stories\, juxtapose ideas and images\, inhabit characters\, vividly evoking entire worlds along the way and expanding our sense of just what it is a song may be. Meticulously recorded over three years in New York and Buenos Aires\, his most recent release\, Careless\, offered an ambitious\, luxurious\, full- length statement. Shindell immersed himself in the studio\, allowing the time and latitude to explore\, experiment\, take risks—to play as each of these eleven songs was given form and substance. While his signature acoustic guitar style is used to good effect\, Careless also found Shindell plugging in more. \nWebsite: https://www.richardshindellmusic.com/Video: https://youtu.be/gx8lBBizezw \n********* \nOpening will be North Carolina singer-songwriter Jess Klein\, who performs her Americana/folk-rock originals with a “voice of unblinking tenacity” (New York Times). Jess Klein came to this world to pull firebrand power and childlike joy from our darkest shadows. Her acoustic-driven\, hook-laden story songs revel in the polychrome of human experience – joy\, rage\, sensuality and resilience. Hailed as “a major talent” (Billboard)\, Jess has appeared on Good Morning America and NPR’s All Things Considered\, performed at the Newport\, Winnipeg\, Falcon Ridge and Philadelphia Folk Festivals\, and shared stages with Arlo Guthrie\, Josh Ritter\, Ani DiFranco\, Steve Earle and Alejandro Escovedo. Jess’s live shows are known for their intimate and soulful atmosphere; her emotive vocals and poignant storytelling invite her fans on a journey through themes of love\, loss\, and resilience. \nWebsite: https://jessklein.com/Video: https://youtu.be/3jBMtXM5RxI

SUMMARY:13th Annual Arbor Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Morristown Shade Tree Commission is proud to announce its 13th annual Arbor Day celebration\, taking place on Saturday\, April 25th at 9:00 AM at Jacob Ford Park basketball court. \nThis year’s event will feature the planting of two Swamp White Oak trees along the basketball court. These trees will provide much-needed shade for park visitors while contributing to the overall tree canopy\, helping improve air quality and environmental health in the community. \nIn addition to the tree planting\, the event will highlight ongoing restoration efforts within Jacob Ford Park. The park’s forest and slope areas have been part of a multi-year restoration project led by the Commission. Now entering its third year\, the initiative is moving into an exciting planting phase. Attendees are encouraged to stay after the ceremony to learn more about the significant progress being made in restoring and strengthening the park’s natural landscape. \nThe Morristown Shade Tree Commission (STC)\, created in 2013\, is responsible for the town’s public trees and shrubs. The STC continues to plant trees throughout Morristown’s right-of-way while also working within the forested areas of local parks. Their efforts include removing invasive vines\, restoring native habitats\, reforesting\, and improving overall tree health. \nThe Commission meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in Room 201 at Town Hall. SUMMARY:Celebrate National Therapy Animal Day with Therapy Pets
DESCRIPTION:Creature Comfort Pet Therapy invites the community to celebrate National Therapy Animal Day on April 30 from 4:30–6:30 PM on the lawn of the Vail Mansion. \nThis special community event will highlight the powerful impact therapy animals have on people of all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet certified therapy animals\, speak with volunteers\, and learn how pet therapy helps reduce stress\, ease anxiety\, and bring comfort to those in need. \nCreature Comfort Pet Therapy is a 15-year-old nonprofit that certifies volunteer teams and their pets to provide visits in hospitals\, schools\, nursing homes\, libraries\, rehabilitation centers\, and other community facilities across nine counties in New Jersey. The organization currently has more than 250 volunteers\, conducts over 5700 visits annually\, and reaches more than 130\,000 people each year. \nDuring the celebration\, Creature Comfort Pet Therapy will also be honored for its service to the community with a Resolution from Assemblywoman Aura K. Dunn and a Proclamation from Morristown Councilman Chris Russo. \nThe event is free and open to the public. Community members are encouraged to attend\, meet the therapy animals\, and learn more about how to become involved in this meaningful work.
