RANDOLPH, NJ – A section of West Hanover Avenue between Sussex Turnpike and Westminster Drive is scheduled to close after 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, and Friday, Oct. 16, for water main work, according to the township’s Oct. 14 notice.
The Liberty Village Development contractor is scheduled to install a water main and wet tap during work hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The township said the road will remain open for morning commuter traffic before the full closure begins after 9 a.m.
Traffic will be detoured along Sussex Turnpike and Mount Freedom Avenue. Police officers will be stationed in the work zone, and properties within the construction area will have limited driveway access, the notice said.
