A 104-unit multifamily development in Morris County was selected as one of 10 projects in the first cohort of a statewide pilot intended to track permits and review timelines across agencies.
MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – A proposed 104-unit multifamily development in Lincoln Park is among the first 10 projects selected for New Jersey’s new Permitting Dashboard Pilot, a state initiative intended to give applicants and agencies a shared view of project status, permit timelines and agency review steps.
The pilot was announced Thursday, June 18, 2026, by Gov. Mikie Sherrill. The first cohort includes housing, energy and commercial projects selected from 31 applications after an initial eligibility check for economic impact and permitting complexity.
The Morris County project is White Rock NJ’s White Rock at Jacksonville in Lincoln Park, described by the state as a 104-unit multifamily development with 21 affordable units. Lincoln Park is one of Morris County’s municipalities.
According to the Governor’s Office, the dashboard will allow participating businesses to track permits across agencies in one place. State officials said the pilot is meant to test ways to improve transparency, coordination and accountability in the permitting process for projects tied to housing, energy, job creation and economic growth.
Other selected projects include residential developments in Wall Township, Manchester Township, Upper Township, Flemington and Middletown; energy projects in Sayreville, Egg Harbor City and Woolwich Township; and a telecommunications infrastructure project in Hoboken.
The pilot’s next test will be whether the dashboard provides clearer timelines for projects that often require multiple agency reviews before construction can move forward.
