FLORHAM PARK, NJ – Florham Park Borough is listed to receive $61,512 in state recreation grant funding as part of a $9.918 million Local Recreation Improvement Grant round announced by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. The state said the competitive program awarded grants to 154 local governments, including counties, municipalities, and school districts across New Jersey.
A borough resolution approved on February 3, 2026 authorized Florham Park to apply for approximately $61,511.96 from the Department of Community Affairs for a project involving new playground equipment at Volunteer’s Park located on Elm Street. The public award list released by the state this week shows Florham Park Borough receiving $61,512, matching that previously authorized request to the dollar once rounded.
