New Jersey Cannabis Regulator Announces Recall of ButACake Peach Elixir Beverage

NEW JERSEY – The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission announced a voluntary recall of specific lots of ButACake Peach Elixir 5 mg, a cannabis-infused beverage manufactured by CannPowerment LLC, after reports of potential packaging and structural compromise.

The recall was posted on May 29, 2026. According to the NJ-CRC, CannPowerment initiated the recall out of caution while the company investigates the packaging issue with the commission. The agency said no adverse events had been reported at the time of the notice.

The affected products are Peach Elixir ButACake 5 mg cannabis-infused beverage products sold in cans. The affected batch or lot numbers listed by the commission are:
